Green/Red Traffic Control Batons

Through the Association's supplier, Traxion Distribution, members are now able to gain traffic control batons that flash both green and red.

The concept is that with a push of a switch that the user can switch between a baton with red light (to stop or slow traffic) and a baton with green lights - indicating that traffic can proceed.

Initial feedback on these are that they are a very useful tool for pilot to have, and are understood well by other motorists.

NZHHA "Proud Member" Sticker

We are pleased to announce that back in stock are the "Proud Member" sticker for displaying on the outside of your vehicles.

The measure 250 wide x 150 high and are an oval shape with the NZHHA logo as pictured.

They are available from the NZHHA office for the price of $3 each + GST.

Best Practice Guide to House Relocation

The NZ Heavy Haulage Association is pleased to announce that in conjunction with ACC, the Best Practice Guide to Building Relocation in New Zealand has been completed and is available for sale.

We would like to acknowledge the participation of OSH and ACC in bringing this project to a conclusion, and assisting with both technical and logistical assistance. Also, acknowledgement needs to be made to all those member companies that have contributed to this project, and in particular thanks must go to Craig Walker who has been driving this project, and has spent a lot of his own time and resources in the development of this resource.

In recognition of the contribution that member companies have made to this project, house moving members will be able to purchase this Guide for the price of $29.95 (incl GST) plus postage and handling. For all others, the price of $99.95 (incl GST) will apply.

This Guide will now set the standard for safe building relocation in New Zealand, and we trust that all house movers will use this Guide to assist them with their health and safety policies and procedures.
